The Wee Server [la-forge]

This PC started off its life in my house as the kids' second PC... and this was all of the prompting that I needed to get another PC up and running in the house:

Me: "Why are you moving that big chair out of your room?"
Alasdair: "Because everyone in the house has a computer in their room except for me!"

This was his PC for many years until the upgrade to a rather superior Gaming PC.

However, after being redundant for 6 months, it's now serving its time as a wee server in the ex-wife's house (after the old one died).

This wee box is a quad core Linux PC running Xubuntu 26.04 LTS (Resolute Raccoon) which is more than capable of running any services that may be required (as well as a full XFCE desktop).

Services (it may be wee, but it's still a server):

It currently provides all of these services:

Network File System (NFS) server
Windows Network File System (Samba) server
Minecraft Servers:
- 1x Minecraft.net (Java Edition)
UPnP / DLNA network media services:
- Plex (FLAC music / videos / photos) - accessible from anywhere!
- Twonky Server (MP3 music / videos / photos)
