Gavin Cameron has been interested in photography since getting his first digital camera back in 2000 which was a very basic "point and shoot" compact camera. He has sinced moved onwards and upwards and currently uses this equipment to capture photographs. He has taught himself how to compose photos and has a few ideas to experiment with.
Gavin is mainly interested in still life photography, although has been known to dabble.
The name WhiteHawk comes from the photographer's first name: Gavin is a Scottish form of the Norman French name Gawain which in turn is a form of the Welsh name Gwalchgwyn, meaning "white hawk."
