Mistress' 21st
Since this is one of the major birthdays
in someone's life, Q and Stud wanted to make sure this was a birthday
Mistress would remember for the rest of her life!
It actually started off on the Thursday in the Templar Lodge in Gullane when at midnight Q got the guys that were in doing acoustic sets in the pub to play "Happy Birthday" with the whole pub joining in the singing. First of many surprises for her over the weekend!
Friday (her actual birthday) started with a few drinks at her house and opening of presents etc. Then we went down to the Templar for a few more drinks and to meet up with others. Her Mum and step Dad then treated Mistress and several of her closest friends to dinner at The Tweadale in Gifford. So a taxi ride over, very nice meal and a taxi back.
On returning to the Templar, the next surprise awaited Mistress! Q and Stud had arranged for the pub to be decorated with birthday things (banners, balloons etc.) including half a dozen embarrassing photos of Mistress when she was a child, blown up to 9 inch prints. At the end of that night we had a private party above the pub. The lights went down, we sang again and in came a big cake! Mistress gets very emotional at times!!!
Anyway, that went on for a while and the Saturday was devoted to being the KIDDA night out for her birthday - Banjo, Mistress, Mulder, Nutz, Q, Rider, Shucks, Stud and Squealer were in attendance. More surprises in store (just wait and see the photos). We started the night in The Conan Doyle in Edinburgh before going for a meal in Giuliano's (another surprise) and then onto Q Bar, finally ending the night in Berties.
Background over ... onto the photos, although this was probably the hardest night out to pick only 10 photos from!

In The Conan Doyle, mistress
is presented with her attire for the evening ... a rather attractive
and discrete badge and a lovely hair band, oh, with a rather huge pink
arrow reading "over here big boy!" on it. |

Giuliano's, Q and Stud arranged for a very special desert for Mistress
- two scoops of ice cream, a banana with a strawberry on the top,
topped with cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce! |

Of course, being the type of
people that we are, she had to attack it this way ... she swallowed all
the cream too! |

whole length of the banana, so Banjo seductively got her lips around
the girth of it! |

everyone had it on their head by the end of the night. |
