This was a KIDDA day out with a
difference ...
no
alcohol!!! And why, I hear you ask? Well, a friend of KIDDA, Sharon
(who just happens to be Pupps' sister) was manager of a travel agents
and arranged a bus trip down there. Beamish is an old mining village
just south of Gateshead which has been turned into an open air museum.
I'm not going to go into too much detail about the place, but if you
want to know,
here's
a link to their web site.
Anyway, a few of us went along for the ride, Q, Smidgen and Rider.

We may not have drank any
alcohol, but couldn't resist taking a photo of the name of a beer
plastered on a tram car!
Smidgen, was feeling hot, so
took off her shirt. Don't need to say any more, do I?

Flaps, this one speaks for
itself really!!!
As does this one, Rider!

Lunch time and we went into
the park for some sandwiches. The band was playing to entertain the
crowd.
Just outside the village was
an army camp. Flaps couldn't resist getting his hands on a big loaded
weapon.

And neither could Smidgen,
however, it's as big as she is!!!
Even though she's small, she
still had trouble getting out of the old fashioned desks in the primary
school. Mind you, to be fair, I think the desk was made for a 4 year
old!
